Please note: We close at 3:30 PM to focus on processing applications, permits, and inspections. Thank you for your understanding.

Welcome to the City of Seminole!
Our Building Division provides a broad range of essential services to both the development community and Seminole residents. These services include permit issuance, plan reviews, field inspections, and project site plan evaluations. Our team of highly qualified professionals ensures that all projects requiring permits are reviewed and inspected with an emphasis on quality and compliance. Most plan reviews, including zoning and fire plan reviews, are conducted in-house by our experienced staff.
To maintain the current level of service within the Building Division, commercial projects are required to use a private provider for plan review and inspections at the applicant's expense. A fee reduction is provided for commercial projects to accommodate this process.
Steps to Apply for a Permit:

1. Register Your Account: If this is your first time using our portal, you’ll need to register. It’s quick and easy. Just click the "Register Now" button and follow the instructions to create your account.
2. Apply for a Contractor’s License: After registering, and before applying for a permit, you’ll need to complete the Contractor Registration process.
3. Apply for a Permit: Once your Contractor Registration is processed, you’re ready to apply for a permit.
