The Department's Planning and Community Development efforts include economic development and annexation-related activities, as well as the review and administration of the City's Land Development Regulations and Comprehensive Plan. In addition, short and long-range planning for the City is also a primary responsibility of the Community Development Department. The activities of the Community Development Department are directed to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of the community by providing top quality professional, efficient, and timely services.
