Requesting Inspections
If you are a Contractor, inspections may be scheduled two ways: |

If you are a Homeowner, call the Inspection Hotline to schedule your inspection. |

If you are requesting a partial inspection, please give the details of what is ready for your inspection in your inspection request. |
|
If you are completing a Residential project, one inspector will perform all trade inspections (building, mechanical, electrical, & plumbing), so you will not have to wait for multiple inspectors to arrive. |
|
Required inspections are found in Section 110 of the Florida Building Code. It is the responsibility of the permit holder to ensure that all required inspections are performed and approved. All permits require final approval to complete. |
Inspections must be called in by 2:00 P.M. to receive a next day inspection. Inspections called in after 2:00 P.M. on Friday or on a weekend will be scheduled for the 2nd business day. |
