Public Education Overview

The Seminole Fire Rescue Department's Life Safety Services Section is responsible for providing the community with information and education intended to create a safer community. Presentations are made throughout the year on a variety of topics intended to reduce the incidents of fire, prevent injuries, and prepare families for disasters. Programs such as home fire prevention, workplace fire safety, drowning prevention, bicycle safety, and disaster preparedness and response help keep the greater Seminole fire district safe and prepared. The City of Seminole Fire Rescue also offers training to businesses in the community on such topics as fire extinguisher training, evacuation procedures and disaster preparedness.
